Fight food waste
Reduce losses, from raw materials to finished products.
Why this programme
Every kilo lost is raw material that was bought, processed and then thrown away. The programme has teams measure the losses on a virtual line, look for their causes and come up with solutions: settings, recipes, donations, recovery. Your site’s figures can serve as a starting point.
The traceability of food, feed, food-producing animals, and any other substance intended to be, or expected to be, incorporated into a food or feed shall be established at all stages of production, processing and distribution.
What your teams experience
- The loss scale: estimate what a day’s production loses at each stage, then the screen reveals the real figures.
- Second life: match each type of loss with a recovery solution.
- The date that matters: understand use-by and best-before dates and what they allow for donations.
- The zero-loss challenge: each team commits to a measurable action for its workshop.
Each activity opens and closes with a projected cinematic sequence, personalised for your teams. The facilitator sets the pace: nothing moves forward without them.
