Smooth handovers
Improve communication between teams, departments and shifts.
Why this programme
Many incidents begin with a piece of information that does not get through. The programme trains teams to pass on the essentials, quickly and unambiguously, using a structured method such as SBAR. Doctors, caregivers and support staff play in the same teams.
Speech belongs half to the one who speaks, half to the one who listens.
What your teams experience
- The travelling message: a piece of information passes from team to team, and the screen shows what is left of it at the end.
- The express handover: summarise a fictional clinical situation in four points, against the clock.
- Who to call: match each situation with the right contact, day or night.
- The shift change: two teams hand over a ward to each other, then discover what was forgotten.
Each activity opens and closes with a projected cinematic sequence, personalised for your teams. The facilitator sets the pace: nothing moves forward without them.
What the company gains
Shorter and more complete handovers, less information lost between shifts, and greater mutual respect between professions.
A review of reports from the Joint Commission reveals that communication failures were implicated at the root of over 70 percent of sentinel events.
How we tailor it to you
Your wording, departments, figures and photos are built into the challenges and cinematic sequences, to the letter. The look follows your brand guidelines. Teams are formed on the spot or based on your organisation chart. The session report is delivered to you after the event.
Before you book
What is digital team building?
A team building session in which teams play challenges on participants' phones while a big screen shows the running order, the scores and the cinematic sequences. A facilitator runs the room from start to finish. Everything happens in person.
Do we need to install an app?
No. Participants scan a QR code and play in their phone's browser. No account, no password, no installation. It works on iPhone and Android.
Is there a limit on the number of participants?
No. The platform adapts to your headcount, from a small team to the whole company, in one or several rooms.
